Mom went to be with the Lord around 3am. I am here at the house with Dad (and Madison is here too, she was spending the night with them). She went peacefully. Our hearts ache, but we rejoice knowing that she is celebrating in heaven with no more pain and suffering.
Merry Christmas!
We feel Kathy's peace. God bless you all. Dick & Betsy
ReplyDeleteI'm glad she's at peace. I love you Tani's!
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord! What a celebration for God, but what an emptiness for us all left here without her. Death from a long drug out battle is always so bitter sweet, I wish we had all the answers right now. But like you said Mandy, it's in "his timing" we will know all. I am so sorry she is no longer with us, or you, but I find saddened comfort knowing she will never feel pain again or sadness. I know she is rejoicing and wishing we were there to understand and share her experience right now, but for now, we will continue to pray for strength and understanding for you and your family and uncle. We love you,
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas,
Love Bill, Shan, Tay, Tan & WIll
I love you all. Peace.
ReplyDeleteI was very saddened to hear about your mother's passing. She was someone that really lived every day to the fullest. While I know that words are only a small gesture of support, I want you to know that her spirit has touched many people's lives as it has mine. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Michele

ReplyDeletewe knew that this day was coming soon, but it still doesn't make it any easier. i loved kathy so much and will miss her dearly. there will never be anyone in my life, like her, again. christmas will always have a new meaning for me....i will celebrate the birth of the baby jesus and now i will celebrate the day my beloved sister kathy entered into god's heaven. there are no words that i can say that can relieve your grief, so i can only say that i love you all, and feel that same heartache. kathy always loved christmas... and if there is anything about this that can be approached with a smile......it is the fact that she went to god's heaven on a very special day. her day...and the baby jesus' day. i shall always cherish this day in my sister's honor and rekindle her memory every chance i get. i will love and miss her dearly. god bless your whole family for the strength that you had to deal with the passing of such a dear loved one. i love you all and will miss kathy dearly. the heavens are truely celebrating the acceptance of it's newest angel. i love you kathy.......... your brother jerry.
We are so sorry for your loss, but also rejoice in the fact that she is no longer in pain & is in the hands of the Lord! Love you all, your Oregon family, Vern & Sabrina

ReplyDeleteDear family,
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling Kathy would wait for Christmas.
I didn't want to look at your post this morning but knew I must.
I am rejoicing for Kathy while also feeling the loss that I know you are all experiencing as well as the peace of knowing she is safe in Jesus arms.
Heaven truly does have another Angel. She was an angel down here on earth and we were blessed to have her in our lives as long as we did.
What a tremendous impact she had on so many lives! And the beauty is that she left knowing how many people loved her and how she made each of us feel that we were special to her. My love to all of you Mandy.
and God bless you Sis, I'll see you in heaven.

Our love and prayers will be with you for always. We will kept you in heart forever.

ReplyDeleteThis is for you Auntie Kathy:
It's up to us to re-enchant this planet Earth.
We are the elves and giants, we are the shining ones
daughters of the moon and sons of the sons.
We are the shapeshifters
we are the mysterious light shrouded in mists at dawn
of our time and it's up to us to re-enchant this living
planet Earth.
Up to us to midwife at our own rebirth
up to us to send our dead along their ancient pathways
to the future. Up to us to re-enchant this living planet Earth.
It's up to us to break the spell that steals the colors
from the world and leaves it lifeless.
It is our spell we, can break it.
It's up to us the break spell that steals the music
from the Wind and Rain.
It is our spell we can break it.
We will dance the magic dance and our bodies
will remember, we will sing the magic songs and together
we will remember:
How to live together
How to love each other
How to ride the eagle
How to call the deer
Home..~Will Ashe Bacon
I love you, Auntie Kathy and Uncle Rick.
Peace,

ReplyDeleteUncle Rick, Mandy and Tony,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that you have lost someone so special in your lives. Every time I picture Auntie Kathy in my mind, she is always smiling. I don't think I ever saw anything but a smile on her face. Such beautiful words and praises from everyone let you know how special a person she was, but you already knew that. My thoughts and prayers go out to you in this difficult time of grief.
Much love,
M'Lissa, Dan and Lori
Dear Rick, Tony, Mandy and families,
ReplyDeleteSo many nice words from so many. Kathy was so dear and it's evident how many people loved her and admired her. We will miss her terribly and think of her often.
We are lucky to have so many wonderful happy memories to carry us through this sad time.
I received a very touching Christmas gift from one of my grandsons; it was a donation made to American Cancer Society, on my behalf, in honor of Kathy. Without a doubt the best gift I could have received.
Please know we are only a phone call away, if there is anything we can do for you.
Sending much love your way from
Mike and Joan
