Mom will be having her scans today around noon. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers so that she will have some comfort today.
Yesterday the pastoral staff and elders of her church had a wonderful healing prayer time for her. The pastor reminded us that tells us to reach out to our church elders for prayer in healing. This was a special time and I know God was with us. Mom read two verses...please keep them in your hearts throughout her journey.
Isaiah 35:3-4
Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear, your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."
Psalm 41:1-3
Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of trouble. The Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of this foes. The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.
We want you to know (and I think you already do) that you, Rick and the rest of your family are in our prayers. Will look forward to positive upcoming reports. Just continue to rely on the FAITH God freely gives. This FAITH gives PEACE and allows us to trust in HIM, even when the 'things' going on in our life, do not make any sense at all! Love you, B&D
